Video Gaming Systems History
Since when does video gaming exist? Was there any moments when these gaming did not exist and people were still happy and they still had things that could entertain them? There most certainly were such times. But anyhow, these days it is no longer the case of talking about this. One takes video gaming systems history for granted and never wonders what really created and lead to its creation.
The first ever point that this video gaming began from is the missile defense systems that existed in the early 1940s. During the 1950s these were developed into some simple games. As technology evolved these computers video gaming evolved as well. Therefore, in a short period of time, video games developed and came to be arcade, mainframe, console, personal computer and handheld games.
1971 is the year in which the first ever video game was released on the market. The markets it was released on were United States, Japan and Europe. Throughout the history, the video gaming industry suffered more than just one clash, but it revived each time.
In order that a video game should work properly some systems had to be created that can support their format and allow them to actually work. Therefore, in continuing with the video gaming systems history, one will have to take a look into the video gaming consoles history. What does a video game console mean? A video game console it is actually a system that is used in producing video display signal in order that one can display a video game. Even though the first video game appeared back them in 1950s the first video gaming console appeared in 1972. It was then created by the Magnavox Company – and named Magnavox Odyssey. This first generation video games system, developed in Odyssey 100, Odyssey 200 and then the Atari company tried to take over this market.

Therefore, the second generation of these systems was continued by the Fairchild – the Fairchild Video Entertainment System (VES) in the late year of 1976. With the video gaming crash that took place in 1977, the only companies that remained in this field were the Magnavox and Atari. The third generation of gaming systems was released in 1983, by the Japan producer- Nintendo. In the United States it was brought just in 1985 but it had a good beginning. The next generation video consoles began in 1988 with the Sega rebirth. This producer released the Mega Dive gaming console. Another such consoles that have represented the fourth generation are NEC, TurboGrafx-16, SNK.

The fifth generation that takes part of this history began in 1996 and it was mainly characterized by gaming consoles made by Atari Jaguar and 3DO. Other such players on the market that are worth to be mentioned are the Nintendo – Nintendo 64 Playstation; Sega – Sony – Sony PlayStation. However, with the coming of the year 1999 a new insight into the video gaming consoles was provided and they began to take over the market of video gaming, a sit as well was in a continuous development. The Sega DreamCast was then released, Sony PlayStation 2, Nintendo Game Cube and the Microsoft Xbox. The development continued with the seventh generation of such consoles, the Microsoft Xbox 360, Sony PlayStation 3 and as well the Nintendo Wii. These gaming systems developed so mush first of all due to the games, as the games in themselves demanded this change of system. They developed their format, their support files, their speed, memory etc.
Games were mainly done for specific consoles, so one when purchasing a gem, knew what console it will work on. While some people prefer playing simple computer games, online or something, some prefer speed and more complex gaming and would rather play a game to his console.
