And for today we’ll discuss more about one of the AARP word puzzle game, the one called “The right word – Happy neuron”. We’ve all had the experience of not being able to find the right word. We know it’s there, right on the tip of our tongues, but we just can’t retrieve it quickly enough. The word is stored somewhere in out memory but its retrieval is difficult perhaps due to infrequent use of the word or due to a lack of concentration or effort. This game trains your brain to find words quickly and effortlessly. Before starting the real game, you can go first at “example” in order to make an idea about the game. Here in this exercise you will first need to find the word corresponding to each of the 3 definitions shown. Click on the word which seems to correspond to the definition, but try do to this quickly.

You have only 30 seconds for each definition. So in the first part you will be given a few short definitions, and three words to choose from. They are quite simple and even a child could guess them. In the second part you will have 1 minute to find 3 words in one category and 3 words in another category from the two letters provided. For example you will have the category “countries” and the letter C, and you will need to write down 3 words, name of countries that begin with the letter C. And of course, after the time is up you will be given some examples of possible correct answers.

If you found other answers than the ones given , it is fine as long as they are correct words. In the next test you will need to remember the words from the first part of the exercise. You will have 45 seconds to enter the correct words against their definition. So simply write down the words, if you can remember them of course. In this game you must help the Ink Blots get through the levels by drawing bridges, ramps and also caging enemies. Your objective is to guide them safely to the end flags from each level by using your special drawing powers. Just hold the mouse button and drag it across the screen to draw lines, and make path for the little creatures. You can click on it and let it go all the way, because it will stop into a brick wall. It will then activate the platform below, and throw it directly on the person and kill it. But you will then have to stop the car, otherwise it will fall too. the games goes on and on, and there are more and more fun methods to kill humans with cars. This one has an interesting graphics, and it looks just like a really old game from the 80’s for a TV game console. The music is also a similar one, that will make you remind yourself of the old times when you used to play video games on your Nintendo or Sega game console. You will have to use the arrow keys to move the small pink “thing” and collect all the coins, and finally reach the exit of the level. But this is not as simple as it first looks, because you can go wherever you want with the character.

Once you press one arrow key, for example left, he will go in that direction and he won’t stop until he reaches an obstacle (a blue square wall). Simply use the mouse to aim, and then you will launch bombs from your cannon. Move the mouse further away from the canon to shoot with more power, and keep the mouse closer to shoot easier. In the level selection you can choose between 3 levels, but of course it will be recommended to try all of them. There is a total number of 50 levels, so you can play this game for a long time. The game is really fun to play, and it will get more and more complicated as you advance through the levels. Any bomb that you shoot will have 3 seconds until it explodes. If there are other bombs across the map, when one of your bombs touches them, they will be activated and they will blow too in 3 seconds. If you get stuck and you can’t do anything more, press the space bar in order to restart the level. The fourth level is really fun, and the black guys are located right above your canon, so you can’t reach them. So you will have to shoot your bombs into the barrel located in your right side. Push that barrow until it reaches the big bomb, and it will activate the bomb. In 3 seconds the huge bomb will explode, throwing the barrel right into the 3 black guys, and destroying all of them.

Whenever you kill one of the white guys, the game is over and you will have to restart that level. In the 5^th level you won’t have to throw the bombs from the upper side, because this way you will kill the white guy. Throw your bombs into the lower right side, into that brown stick. When you hit it, it will rotate and activate the other bombs. They will explode, and kill just the black guy, and the white one is safe. The 6^th level is quite simple, and if you manage to throw just one bomb in the right place, it will trigger a chain reaction, and all the black guys will be destroyed with one shot. In level 7 you will have to separate the white roly-pollies from the black ones, and this can be quite a tricky job, and you will have to move really fast. If you can’t find a solution to one of the levels, just press on the “solution” button, and you will be taken to this site, and here you have visual training for each level. In level 8 if you throw the bomb directly to the black guy, he will also push the white roly-poly on fire. So you will die, and this is not the best solution. What you need to do is to first throw a bomb at the barrel, and make it to fall on the fire. Only then throw the bomb to the black poly. If you will be asked to hit into the multiples of 7, then you will have to bump the cars with these numbers: 7, 14, 21, 28 and so on. If there are more cars that are matching the description in front of you, try to hit into all of them, to get even more points. If you will bump into a wrong car, you won’t be able to go any further and you will have to move away from that car. And when you do this you will lose a lot of time, so try to hit only into the correct cars. There will also be other obstacles in your way, so jump over them using the space bar. Larry will jump into the water, but he will jump so powerful that he will break his neck and die. So the message will be “you lose!”. This version will happen when you click on the pool with the “look” button activated. But if you click on the pool with the “use” button, you will also jump in the pool. But this time there will be a shark appearing right when you jump, and he will eat you.

So again the message is “you lose”. If you want to try a new version, just click on the restart button. If you will go next to the wheelbarrow, and remove it, you will find a bag of cement. There are so many of them on the internet, and for today we’ll discuss just about some free puzzle games. We’ll begin with the “Classic Connect the dots” game. You probably already know this simple but fun game, because it can also be played on a piece of paper, with a friend. Even though you may find this game on a site with games for kids, it can be played by anyone, no matter the age, and it can be quite tricky. Your objective is to make more squares than your opponent. You will have to click on adjacent dots in order to connect them with a line. You will alternate turns with your opponent, and here in this online version your lines will be red while the lines of the computer are blue. Simple place one line at a time, until you have three of them next to each other. After that all you have to do is place the 4^th line and close the square. When you make a square you will have one more turn. You will have to be really careful where you place the line, because if you won’t make a square, maybe the computer will make one, or even more. The game is over when the whole surface of the board is filled with squares. Now you will see the final score, and find out if you won or lost the game. If you want to start a new game simply press on the “reset” button.

You will have in front of you a big red square wit dots on it, and a few shapes. You will have to match those shapes and put them inside the square in order to fill it up. Drag and drop the shapes and place them in the position you consider is the correct one. After completing the square the game will be over, and you can start it again and receive new shapes. This one may be recommended for kids so that they can learn different shapes and put their mind to the test.
