The world of the free online games is really diversified and there are thousands of flash games on the internet, with all sorts of topics and characters. There is probably a game with anything that you might think of from the real life and from the fictional world too. Some games are inspired by activities such as: sports, cooking, dressing up, fighting, shooting, playing cards, others are inspired by celebrities, others by real events and others are entirely invented by their creators. There are all sorts of cards games on the internet and the most famous ones are casino games and also the Solitaire games.

Among the casino cards games you can find many games of Poker and Blackjack and even though you might think that Solitaire is just a single game, it is actually a big family of games that has many more others. The Solitaire game that most of us know is called Klondike Solitaire, and it is found in the “Games” of any Windows operating system. But as we said there are many more others, and today we’ll give you some information on Solitaire games.

We’ll choose some games offered for free by the site of AARP and we’ll begin with the “Surf Solitaire”. In this game you must move cards of the same suit into the top four piles starting with the ace. Use the four free cells in the upper left as temporary storage areas. Cards can be moved from one stack to another in the tableaux if they are in descending order and of a different color (for example red jack on black queen). Groups of cards can also be moved from one stack to another only if a corresponding number of free cells are available. So this game is quite similar to the classic Klondike Solitaire that you know, but with a few small differences. Since it is called “Surf Solitaire” it has a cool background showing a beach with 2 dogs running on it and some colored surfing boards.

So after you are ready with this one you can move on to another one, for example the “Spider Solitaire” found on this link. This one has three difficulty levels and these are: easy – with one suit, medium with 2 suits and difficult with four suits. Since it is called spider solitaire, of course that on the back of the cards there is a spider :). In this game you will have to remove all cards from the 10 columns to win the game. Cards are removed if you can form a sequence from K down to A of the same suit in one column. The columns are built by rank. You can move a card or a stack of cards only if they are in sequence and also of the same suit. You can stack any card in a column if this one is empty. When all of the moves have been made, click on a draw pile that is faced down  to place a new card in each column. To make the highest score possible try to remove all the cards in the fewest moves and the shortest time possible. To submit your score just press on the “Resign” button. Good luck and have fun!

These were just 2 examples of Solitaire games but there are many more others on many sites, that are just waiting for you to try them. But any Solitaire game will require a lot of patience and that’s why this game is also called “Patience”. If you know some more other information on Solitaire games, we invite you to tell it to us. Have a nice day!
