Free Computer Games For Pc

Area 51
It is a free computer game from the shooter category and it was developed by Midway and released in May 8. 2005 for PC, PlayStation 2 and also for Xbox. Area 51 was released as an ad-ware game, being sponsored by U.S Air Force.

The game action takes place in Area 51, one of the most famous American military bases. Around this military unit, it was created a true folklore, primarily because of the rumors that there it might exist alien ships. The players will find Ethan Cole in the main role, which is a specialist in the HazMat Team Bravo. The team is called to the base to identify and eliminate a virus that turns people into true mutants. The entire team is eliminated and Ethan will be the last human character. I can not ignore the fact that Area 51 has 1.9 GB and is noted by PEGI with “+15 years” attribute.

Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory (or Wolfenstein: ET) is a free computer game – first person shooter – developed by Splash Image in collaboration with Activision. Like I said, the game is freeware and it was released in May 15, 2003.

Initially the game was supposed to be released as an expansion to the Return to Castle Wolfenstein game, but the developers chose it to be a freeware instead, and Splash Image developed subsequently a commercial game named Enemy  Territory: Quake Wars.

Wolfenstein: ET takes place in the World War II where the players must choose between the forces of the Axis or Allied forces. Attackers (usually Allies) have to complete several missions which are different for each map separately. The missions differ significantly, starting with the theft of certain documents and their transmission through radio, until blowing up some fuel depots or stealing gold from the bank.

Originally, there were six official maps for Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory but subsequently were developed by the community, other few dozens of maps. Official maps are: Seawall Battery, Rail Gun, Siwa Oasis, Wurzburg Radar, Fuel Dump and Gold Rush.

Players will have to choose from five classes of soldiers (Soldier, Covert Ops, Engineer, Field Ops and Medic) and from several weapons. Generally speaking, each class has a certain role in the game play.
