Of people that waste their lives in front of the computer playing have no remedy, I would say that no, inventing computer games was not worth the trouble. I enjoy computer games a lot, but no more tat I enjoy a game of canasta, rummy, scrabble or monopoly. The thing with computer games is that you can play them even when you are alone while society games require more players. I will always turn off the computer if my gang invites me to a game of bridge! Well, computers games are very fun and relaxing as long as you know when to stop.
