There are so many fun activities that you can do on the internet, and here are just some examples: you can browse all kinds of sites in search of all sorts of information, or you can download music, pictures, movies, or you can chat with friends or meet new people from all over the world and you can also have a lot of fun by playing some free online flash games. These are usually simple games, with quite a simple graphic and an easy to understand gameplay.

They are found on the internet for free, and there are so many of them on hundreds of sites. They are also really diversified, with all kinds of topics and characters. Some of them are quite funny and silly, while others are more serious and require a little bit of intelligence and concentration. The most famous games from this last category are the puzzle games. Even though they have a very simple gameplay (all you have to do is use the mouse and click on different places), they are quite difficult especially as you advance more in the game.

As we said there are many sites offering flash games and today we’ll discuss about a site that has just puzzle games. And this one is freepuzzlegames.biz. There are a lot of fun games to play here, and they are sorted on categories. These are: Puzzle games, Jigsaw Games, Sudoku Games, and Popular Games. Now let’s play and discuss more about some of them, and we’ll choose them in a random order. We’ll begin with the game called “Click Maze 2”. The objective of this game is to guide the red pill through the maze while avoiding the black walls and other obstacles. And finally you will have to reach the larger red pill with as few clicks as possible. First click on the “start” button to begin the level. The use the mouse to click on the screen and guide the pill. You will get to the next level when you reach the big red pill. The small circle with a white contour is your mouse icon, the little red pill is the one you have to guide, and the big red pill is the end  of the level. You will get three kinds of scores, and they will be totaled at the end of each level. The level completion score will give you 100 points for each level that you complete. The level par bonus score will give you points according to the number of clicks you have made. For example if the level par is 8 and you completed the level in exactly 8 clicks you get 100 points. If you completed the level under par (in less moves than 8) you will get 10 extra points for each move.

But if you complete the level over par (in more moves than the par), then you will lose 10 points for each extra move. And finally the level lives remaining score will multiply the other scores depending on how many lives you still have left. Once you begin to play remember that you can you’re your small red pill only in a straight line. Otherwise it will bump into walls or obstacles. The pill will travel really fast, and when you hit an obstacle you won’t see this, but you will see a message telling you this. The game is quite fun, and the levels will get more and more complicated. So enjoy the game, and try to complete all 10 levels in as few moves as possible. And of course if you made a big score you can submit it to the score board.

So here was just one fun game from this site, but of course there are hundreds of others that are just waiting for you to try them. So have fun, and when you find some other games that are cool to play, tell us all about them!

The next Pokémon puzzle games gamecube in line if Pokémon Puzzle Challenge. Pokémon Puzzle Challenge has little to do with Alexey Pajitnov’s historic creation. The games consists in a pile of cubes called garbage and your job evolves in clearing away the garbage by matching cubes of the same color into lines of three or more. When those lines disappear, the remaining garbage falls into place, sometimes causing further chain reactions. If one does not succeed  in clearing the garbage, the pile will eventually collide with the top of the screen, which ends the game. It has a full system of groups and chain reactions that makes it all special. Single matches and chains can remove four, six, ten, up to 30 cubes at a time from the screen. Games have been an important part of our life ever since their first release. How come we have become so addicted to them in such a short time? Like everything that is likable and everything that makes us feel good, games have taken control over our desires.

Some of these games we are into are puzzle games. The puzzle game, emphasize puzzle playing. One must resolve some problems that include using your logic, strategy, pattern recognition availability, sequence solving and even word completing. The origin of puzzle games, stays in the year 1982, when the Atari Video Cube game was released and played. After this one, the Tetris widely known game, was then created, by a Russian game designer.

What is KenKen and what does it signify and offer you? KenKen is a puzzle phenomenon first introduced in 2004. It offers one a great way to exercise eth brain and develop your logic skills as well. The creator of this games, is a mathematician, a  Japanese one. It got to be known as a book was published containing his games. The first book of this kind, at that time, sold in 1.5 million pieces, just in Japan. After all this success one was promised to develop the business and starts with publishing and marketing campaigns, this happens in the year 2008. After this is worldwide known, in 2009 the KenKEn puzzle games begin being added six per day, free daily interactive puzzles. In its development, it was sustained by Reader’s Digest, Harper’s Collins, iToys, Dell Magazines, New York Times etc. many have come into the help of it getting more and more evolved on the market.

Today, the KenKen puzzle games, contain a grid of squares that vary in size and that are similar to Sudoku. One must put all the numbers in shape along a row or column and that should not be repeated. There are some mathematical rules that one can follow in order to be able to play this game. One must fill in any cages containing only a single square, if one of the cages contain more than one square, fill in the ones, that have just one possible solution available; in the multiple solution possibilities, one must write them down on a sheet of paper, and then decide which may make sense. The digits that one puts there are able to be repeated as long as they are not found in the same row or column. As everything to be made faster, one try and look for the rows or columns that have only one single number left to be filled.

The challenges in the KenKen puzzle games become various as you advance in level. It is a game that can be played in the official website that can as well be found in such websites as http://www.hicolor.jp/puzzle/en/about/index.html. Apart from this, one may as well download the game on the mobile device, and have it along with him anywhere one may go.

It is a teaching and interactive game as it outs your brain working and it develops your concentration possibilities. No matter what time one may make in solving one puzzle, with time, one will see some changes in the way your mind works and in the speed the mind works.

Just like in any computer game, one must not exaggerate with it and create his own wolrd, around it. This is just a game and should be taken as such. It cannot be taken as something palpable and something one can live with every single day. It is the world of games that is very bad to the human’s mind, if one cannot refrain oneself from exaggerating.

Strategic Puzzle Games

Published by TheChallengeBase, on Jun 17 2010, in the categories: Puzzle

Puzzle Quest Challenge of the Warlords is a strategic puzzle game action/adventure developed by ValuSoft for PC.

I know the title may seem strange for a good game meant to fill your time at work, but I notice a new trend this year, the trend of "mutants" in games; and through this, I understand the different combinations of genres, and I believe that in the future, this idea will expand allot into gaming, while the traditional divisions FPS, RPG, RTS etc, will be in disfavor.

The idea of the game is pretty simple: Puzzle Quest Challenge of the Warlords is a typical RPG only this time we talk about a strategic puzzle game.. anyway when I say RPG I mean that: you have an inventory, you will find weapons, armor and runes, you have to complete missions and doing this you will gain experience and money, which you should invest in the best artifacts and better skills, you have a main story - no surprise here -weird stuff happens with invasion of Orcs and immortals and the Queen asks you to save the world - and optional adventures where the characters are typical races, known, and even have your own fortress where you build buildings, train the animals you caught and learn spells. What is not so typical in this game? Is that the battles are given for runes.

And still, is not quite so simple. In fact, the idea remains to match them by color at least 3 minimum each, but now their destruction creates the colored aura and the combination of colored auras might be used for killing spells, spells that you will learn about while playing the game. Moreover, there are skulls that appear sometimes and the one that will destroy them will decrease the others’ life and this because you do not fight for points, but for life and death, you change shifts and of course, the vigorous enemy will attack back (obviously, the computer sees better the combinations than man), and so, you can win but you can also lose.

I liked in this game the fact that enemies are varied and they have different combination of spells and skills, so for each enemy you must adopt different game tactics (e.g. instead to collect the green aura, which is useful for you, you collect the blue one so that you’re enemy will not use it), you can develop yourself in different directions throughout the game, depending on what kind of style you prefer to the spells.

Sudoku Puzzle Games Online

Published by TheChallengeBase, on May 07 2010, in the categories: Puzzle

What is Sudoku?

Sudoku is a game played with numbers which you have to fill into little boxes in such way that in the given square you need to have numbers between 1 to 9 without repeating them.

Also, you can’t have the same number in a row either right side or down, up side. This may seem a little bit complicated but trust me, it isn’t at all.

I was 13 when I received my first Sudoku Notebook with 100 puzzles, one puzzle each page. Firstly I didn’t know and care, I just threw it between my messy stuff. Then, one day my parents left me home alone playing on my computer. Suddenly, the power ran off and adios my beloved computer games. Crying and getting really angry about that, I started to arrange the things in my room, putting my clothes in my washing machine, arranging books. That’s when I discovered my Sudoku notebook. Having nothing else to do, I opened it and there it all started.

It had three levels: easy, normal and hard. Trust me, I couldn’t stop filling in, erasing and then again filling in. Just couldn’t stop. I needed almost 2 weeks to finish my first Sudoku Notebook. Then for the next few months I’ve signed up to receive the local newspaper every Saturday which had a little notebook with 7 puzzles, one for each day of the week.

But, as fast as I got excited it was all blown away by the closing of my favorite newspaper’s activity.

There have been a few years since then and I’ve started to forget about it, being busy growing older having a teenager life. But guess what?

Checking my mail one day, I’ve just seen an email from a certain site, can’t remember surely its name. It was advertising for a mini clip game called Sudoku Puzzle Game. Entering there I had a little disappointment that I couldn’t play online because I wasn’t the right person to deal with computer tricks but I’ve found there a link from where I could download Sudoku Puzzle game to my cell phone. Since then this is my favorite thing to waste my time with. I have to add that it really helps in developing your mathematical and logical thinking skills and it really helps if you start at an early age.

Just put a paper with a Sudoku puzzle game and a pencil in your son or daughter’s hand and you may be surprised how it can captivate their attention. It’s just like showing a shoe to a baby. He wouldn’t know what to do with it. He might have the first impulse to put it in his mouth or over his head making you laugh, just like babies.

This is exactly the way of a child, teenager or adult acting when facing a Sudoku game. Firstly they wouldn’t know what to do, but when trying and starting to write, it all flows by itself.

I would really suggest it to every one of you out there. Just search for it! I’m sure you won’t be disappointed.

Kids Spiderman Puzzle Games

Published by TheChallengeBase, on Apr 21 2010, in the categories: Puzzle

Puzzle games are fun and challenging. Even for grown up people, what’s there to say when it comes to children?

Every parent wants to keep his child busy and entertained, and cartoons or games can do this successfully. When a combination of this two modalities is possible, than the child would certainly consider this is an important thing that deserves attention.

Cartoon heroes are for every child important, they live like one, buy any sort of objects with the beloved hero. I am simply attacked by this whole world of Hannah Montana and Spiderman. Their images are everywhere, on pencils, notebooks, bags, hats, cereals, chewing gums, blouses, trousers, shirts, socks…everywhere! And what’s more funny is that parents keep on buying for their children, because they seem not to get enough! Whenever something new appears, there’s some kind of war in managing to get those products first!

Let’s guess….how important would be for a child to actually have a puzzle with his preferred hero? He will certainly be more than interested in solving it. He will be so curious to see the final image that he would barely want to eat. But unfortunately this will happen the first time he solves the puzzle, the second time too…but that’s it. He will not be interested in solving it too many times, because he will get bored. If the child is smaller and the parent solves it for him, to wake some interest from the child, the child could not want to break it, and so the puzzle will stay solved under the protective look of the child.

Spiderman puzzle games are preferred, of course, by little boys, that actually act like Spiderman! Still, puzzle games keep the child’s mind busy and trained.

There are computer puzzle games, that the children prefer. They like feeling they have control over things…and solving a puzzle will make them feel this way. Spiderman puzzle games (live or on the computer) are more fun than those that offer any other image, even though a beautiful house might be interesting for us, for children this would be nothing that deserves attention.

For very small children there are puzzles made from wood, to be more resistive, and the image is very simple. There are made more for something like an exercise for the child, to make him think how to combine the pieces and develop certain abilities of matching different objects.

We all like to surround ourselves with our favorite music, color, star or hero. So, why would the child be different? When I was little there was no Spiderman, there was Action man. And no Hannah Montana, but Sailor Moon. And I never had any kind of puzzles, no chance to have a personalized puzzle. But it’s good for children nowadays that they are given the possibility to choose to know what they like!

Puzzle Games You Solve

Published by TheChallengeBase, on Apr 18 2010, in the categories: Puzzle

ME? I don’t like solving puzzle games….I have not enough patience to do something like that and I don’t feel that it offers me any kind of satisfaction. But I admire people that like to solve puzzles, like my brother. He has over 20 puzzle games, each of them with 500-2500 pieces. Sometimes he just stays locked in his room to finish the puzzle, especially when it’s a new achieved one. He remade each for about three times, and he is convinced that a new puzzle game would make him happy ….

He likes especially puzzles with great images, and I mean great places on earth, special cities, unique castles or strange buildings. The pieces are so little that you have to try several times to just find the perfect match and this is for me really hard. But I also think this makes the passionate people eager to see the beautiful result. My brother just says that puzzles are something challenging, that every new piece he matches makes him want to keep on going. In the end, the results are amazing, and I am sure he is proud of himself. It’s a great hobby, and it’s interactive.

I’ve heard of people who gather together to solve a puzzle, and they find this entertaining and fun, and there’s a competition going on, who makes the most matches per minute. It’s a brain exercise that makes you react fast and pay attention.

The computer puzzles are not the same as the real ones, because they cannot offer you that part of originality. But there are still users that prefer this kind of games, maybe because it’s cheaper (You don’t have to buy the puzzle, which are mostly, not really cheap). Usually for a normal puzzle you need some space, if it’s a big one, and that table will be out of any other use until you finish the puzzle.

Children are also very pleased with this kind of occupation, it makes them achieve patience and concentrate. In the end, if he manages to solve it, parents might observe that this can be one of his hobbies or, if not, he is certainly a patience person that likes challenging activities…There are this puzzles for children with cartoons characters, Disney World and Princesses, and this will definitely make the child eager to see the result.

I read even about personalized puzzles, with your own picture, name or anything else you might want. I find this great, it’s a perfect and unique gift. I’m sure that a passionate person about puzzles will appreciate this, “constructing” his own image.

Although I’m not that pleased with the idea of making a puzzle on my own, I always appreciate the results and encourage people too keep on doing this beautiful work!

Puzzle game is to rebuild an image or a three-dimensional object with many parts available (different in shape and color) that can intercalate. For most people, this activity is a hobby.

The history of this game is based on a painting or a drawing made by a panel which is then cut into small shapes that are then reassembled. After about 300 years from early forms of play, the puzzle is now made of cardboard, as this material is more convenient. Also, instead of painting, printing occurs so that games can have a high detail and greater freedom in choosing the image to be made. After printing, cardboard is cut using a knife-cast metal as a complex contour.

Original, in English, calls any puzzle game, toy or problems that require ingenuity, logic, insight and perseverance to reach a solution. Romanian language took over the English term for what is called the jigsaw puzzle (puzzle-cutting).

The game can be from 4.9 parts to thousands of parts, increasing the difficulty but also the interests of enthusiasts.

There are two categories:

* Two-dimensional: It is quite common. An image is cut into several pieces (components), to the game is to reconstruct the original image by assembling parts, whose number varies from a few (6-12 puzzles for children) to thousands (puzzles-hobby which requires a lot of patience especially time)

* Three-dimensional: It is similar to two-dimensional, but it is building an object such as a building or a geometric body, about LEGO game, instead of an image.
