There are thousands of cool flash games on this site, and for today we’ll discuss about some of them. They are sorted on categories, and these are: Arcade Games, Board Games , Card Games, Casino Games, Fighting Games, Multiplayer Games, Puzzle Games, Racing Games, Shooting Games and also Sport Games. So there is a game for everyone, and for today we’ll discuss more about some puzzle adventure games. Let’s begin with the one called “the Numz game”. This one has an interesting graphics, and it looks just like a really old game from the 80’s for a TV game console. The music is also a similar one, that will make you remind yourself of the old times when you used to play video games on your Nintendo or Sega game console. You will have to use the arrow keys to move the small pink “thing” and collect all the coins, and finally reach the exit of the level. But this is not as simple as it first looks, because you can go wherever you want with the character.

Once you press one arrow key, for example left, he will go in that direction and he won’t stop until he reaches an obstacle (a blue square wall). In case there is no square in his path, he will get out of the screen, and you will lose. So be careful and first look carefully at the direction you are heading, and only then press that arrow key. Be sure to reach a blue square, and also to collect all the golden coins on your way. You have to move from one square to another until you reach the exit door that will take you to the next level. Besides the arrow keys , you can also use the P key to pause the game, the 0 key to turn off the sounds or the + or – to turn the volume of the sounds up or down. But it is quite unusual that you can turn off the sounds of the game, but you can’t modify in any way the music from the game. So this can get quite annoying after a while.

The only thing that you can do if you get bored with one song is to reach a white square that has a musical note on it, and then you will get a new song….or you can also turn off your speakers . Beginning with the level 4 of the game there will be some enemies (small bees that are flying around), and you will have to avoid them, otherwise you die. Beginning with level 6 there will be some doors along your path that will block you. And in order to unlock them you will have to collect keys that are located across the map. After all it is a nice game, and even though the graphic is not the most complex one, it can still be a great game to play when you are bored. Have fun!

So now let’s discuss about another puzzle adventure game that is located on this site, and we’ll choose the one called “Roly poly Cannon 3”. So this is the third part of this game, and since there were made 2 other previous parts it means that this is a nice and popular game. You will have to use your shooting skills and eliminate all the black Roly Polys from each level. You will also have to avoid the white ones, because they must survive. Simply use the mouse to aim, and then you will launch bombs from your cannon. Move the mouse further away from the canon to shoot with more power, and keep the mouse closer to shoot easier. In the level selection you can choose between 3 levels, but of course it will be recommended to try all of them. There is a total number of 50 levels, so you can play this game for a long time. The game is really fun to play, and it will get more and more complicated as you advance through the levels. Any bomb that you shoot will have 3 seconds until it explodes. If there are other bombs across the map, when one of your bombs touches them, they will be activated and they will blow too in 3 seconds. If you get stuck and you can’t do anything more, press the space bar in order to restart the level. The fourth level is really fun, and the black guys are located right above your canon, so you can’t reach them. So you will have to shoot your bombs into the barrel located in your right side. Push that barrow until it reaches the big bomb, and it will activate the bomb. In 3 seconds the huge bomb will explode, throwing the barrel right into the 3 black guys, and destroying all of them.

Whenever you kill one of the white guys, the game is over and you will have to restart that level. In the 5^th level you won’t have to throw the bombs from the upper side, because this way you will kill the white guy. Throw your bombs into the lower right side, into that brown stick. When you hit it, it will rotate and activate the other bombs. They will explode, and kill just the black guy, and the white one is safe. The 6^th level is quite simple, and if you manage to throw just one bomb in the right place, it will trigger a chain reaction, and all the black guys will be destroyed with one shot. In level 7 you will have to separate the white roly-pollies from the black ones, and this can be quite a tricky job, and you will have to move really fast. If you can’t find a solution to one of the levels, just press on the “solution” button, and you will be taken to this site, and here you have visual training for each level. In level 8 if you throw the bomb directly to the black guy, he will also push the white roly-poly on fire. So you will die, and this is not the best solution. What you need to do is to first throw a bomb at the barrel, and make it to fall on the fire. Only then throw the bomb to the black poly. But enough about this game, and we’ll let you discover the solutions to the rest of the levels. After all it is a really nice and addictive game, and you can spend a lot of time until completing all the 50 levels. Some of my favorite games in the whole world are, were and will always be detective games. Maybe it’s because I loved to read Agatha Christie novels back in high school. The truth is that quite a huge number of people have always been fascinated about murder stories and major theft and other mysterious crimes that only Sherlock Holmes or Hercule Poirot could ever solve. Maybe you will never have the chance to play detective in real life… but that does not mean that you can’t do it in your virtual one…

The Hardy Boys computer games are a great example of a fun activity where you can practice your detective skills. Between you and me, I played each and every single Nancy Drew game that ever appeared. And if you know about Nancy Drew, you have surely heard about the Hardy Boys. Not only have they starred in some Nancy games but they are also the “babies” of Her Interactive and great detective wanna-bees. “The Hidden Theft” is one of the first Hardy Boys computer games as we have got a feeling there are still many more to come.

We don’t know if Nancy Drew was their source of inspiration, but right from the beginning of the game you can tell that these 2 boys love solving mysteries. The central idea, or crime committed in the game, is the theft of security bonds which belong to Samuel Spencer, a rich and rather odd character which lives on a very large estate. The bonds were kept in the personal safe of the man to which only he and his brother new the combination so you can guess who the prime suspect is. Since security bonds can be cashed in by anyone who possesses them, it is important that they are recovered as soon as possible. As the Hardy boys, Joe and Frank love a good mystery they are delighted in taking this case.

If there is something else you have to so in this game besides snooping around, it’s definitely talking to other people. Basically you have to interview every person that you come across in this game because a great part of being a good detective is knowing what questions to ask and when to ask them. You have to pick up items and figure out where to use them to get the desired result. I have not played this game yet but I can tell you that out of all the Nancy Drew games played, I have managed to finish only 1 without using a walk-through. Some puzzles are just… puzzling.

There is no need to worry if your computer or laptop is not exactly the best one around because all this game requires is about 1.5 – 2 GB of free disk space. It needs a unit that runs on at least a 1.4 GHz Pentium 3 processor and which has at least 256 MB of RAM. You need a video card, nothing fancy, just one that is compatible with Direct X 9 and that uses at least 64 MB of video memory and a 16 bit sound which is Direct X compatible.

We have seen lots of laptop models with processors and RAM far below the ones we are dealing with here and which can work and run applications at an incredible speed so you can only imagine what this Toshiba gaming laptop can do. The total storage capacity of the hard drive is 320 GB and the graphics card is the nVidia GeForce GTS 250M worth 1 GB of video memory. It may not be the best GPU on the market but it can definitely handle some serious gaming.

The 18 inch display is a beauty and it is also one of the first signs that this is a desktop replacement. It can handle Unreal Tournament III at a 1900 x 1050 pixels resolution and with 60 FPS which is not bad at all. You must never expect great performance levels from a 18 inch desktop replacement which is also a gaming unit. The Toshiba Qosmio X505-Q850 has managed to stay on for 1 hour and 55 minutes on that severe video test that drains the battery. Even if it sound terrible, 2 hours on a gaming laptop is not bad at all.
